This dip is delicious with Frito's but would also be delicious with crackers or pita. The possibilities are endless!

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 10 oz. boxes of broccoli
  • 1 1lb. loaf of Velveeta cheese
  • 1 small can of mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 pkg Lipton onion soup mix
  1. Cut Velveeta into 1 in. cubes. Microwave in high for 5 minutes or until melted, stirring occasionally.
  2. Melt butter in fry pan. Fry chopped onion.
  3. Add mushroom soup.
  4. Add Velveeta and all other ingredients.
  5. Simmer.
  6. Serve warm.

  • 1 16 oz bag frozen Gyoza
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 3 cups frozen stir fry vegetables
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • Black pepper
  1. In a medium pot, heat broth, soy sauce, and garlic over medium-high heat. Bring mixture to a boil.
  2. Add Gyoza and vegetables. When mixture begins to boil again, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. If using egg, beat with fork until frothy. Slowly pour into boiling soup in a thin stream creating cooked ribbons of egg. (If you prefer, pan fry the egg and cut into strips)
  4. Remove from heat. Stir in sesame oil.
  5. Sprinkle with pepper to taste.

Serves 4

  • 1 8 oz. can black beans
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 onion (cut into wedges)
  • 3 cloves garlic (peeled)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Mash black beans until thick and pasty
  3. In a food processor, chop pepper, onion and garlic. Add mixture to beans
  4. In small bowl stir together egg, chili powder, cumin and chili sauce.
  5. Add egg mixture to bean mixture.
  6. Mix in bread crumbs
  7. Divide into 4 patties
  8. Place patties in oven for 10 minutes. Flip over and bake for another 10 minutes.

  • 1 can garbanzo beans
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric
  • 1 cup dried bread crumbs
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Mash garbanzo beans in large bowl
  3. Stir in all other ingredients.
  4. Knead mixture until well blended.
  5. Shape into 1 inch balls (If needed add a little bit of water)
  6. Bake at 375 about 20 minutes (until firm)
