Split Pea Soup

  • 1 ham bone
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 12 oz. split peas
  • 2 cups cubed ham
  1. Add ham bone, carrots and celery to medium saucepan.  Cover with water.
  2. Boil soup until carrots are tender.
  3. Add split peas and ham
  4. Simmer 1 hour.
  5. Remove and discard ham bone.
